Jeremiah Clarke’s Trumpet Voluntary remains one of the most popular wedding processional pieces. It was used as the bridal processional for Princess Diana’s wedding back in 1981 and has since become a favourite choice of music.
Most commonly performed on the organ and trumpet, this popular request is also an effective piece of music for our duo. I arranged the piece in the key of C major for acoustic guitar and clarinet ( The tuning of the guitar was altered to allow for an effective extended bass range : C G D G B E ).
