The Western Cape Branch of the South African Institute Of Civil Engineering held their annual dinner at Kelvin Grove on the 5th October.
The Kelvin Grove ballroom exudes an elegance of a bygone era and has been a choice venue for many successful functions over the years. Completed in 1934, the ballroom features Austrian Crystal chandeliers and possibly the biggest sprung dance floor in South Africa. The acoustics also proved to be ideal for an enjoyable solo guitar performance for the SAICE that evening!
