Our acoustic guitar and sax duo enjoyed performing for the guests as they arrived on board the SA Agulhas ll for the Master Of The Trade Routes Gala Dinner which took place on Wednesday 29th August - our first performance aboard the impressive icebreaker.
Built in Finland at a cost of R1.3 billion , the polar supply and research vessel arrived in Cape Town on the 3rd May 2012. During a ceremony celebrating the arrival, the ship was dedicated to the memory of singer Miriam Makeba.
