The Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel is one of our most requested wedding processional pieces.
Apart from being featured in films, "Ordinary People" and "Father Of The Bride", the popularity of the theme has resulted in many musical adaptations by various artists from the Beatles (In My Life - piano break) to Phil Collins (Can't Stop Loving you).
I arranged this popular piece of music for acoustic guitar and clarinet - The low E string was detuned to D in order to extend the bass range of the guitar.
